1. Introduction.

1.1. About program "Blitz CallerID Display".

Program "Blitz CallerID Display" - CTI application 3-d party for PBX Panasonic KX-TD / KX-TDA, which allows to display the number of calling subscribe on EXT line or number dialed from it. The information is given as the liquid crystal display of the PT on the screen of the of the user's computer. Calling number at an incoming call from an extension line is determined by PBX under condition that Caller ID function for analog outside lines, CLIP or ANI for digital outside lines and appropriate complete sets and settings of the PBX are given by the connection operator.

Blitz CallerID Display works with:

• Blitz KXTD TAPI Server. In this case computer under OS Windows begin from version NT 4.0 is directly connected to BPX Panasonic KX-TD / KX-TDA. TAPI-interface is set between computer and PBX and after that Blitz KXTD TAPI Server is set and installed on this computer (additional information you can find here);
• Microsoft TAPI server. In this case computer under OS Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003 is directly connected to the PBX Panasonic KX-TD / KX-TDA, TAPI-interface is set between the computer and PBX and on the basis of it Microsoft TAPI Server is set. Remote Microsoft TAPI client set on name or IP address of the Microsoft TAPI Server is connected to user's computers. Then the CTI application is set on user's computer.
• TAPI-interface of your computer. In this case user's computer under OS Windows 98SE/ME/2000Pro/XP is directly connected to PBX Panasonic KX-TD / KX-TDA and TAPI-interface is set between this computer and PBX. Then the CTI application is set on this computer.

The software "Blitz CallerID Display" is intended:

• For showing on the computer's display CLIP (Caller ID, ANI) numbers of outside and EXT subscribers and also their names at incoming outside and intercom calls on selected EXT telephone line;
• For showing on the computer's display number and name of CO line on which incoming and outgoing outside calls are made from selected EXT line;
• For showing on the computer's display at incoming call on selected EXT telephone line:
  • DID number and its name dialed by outside subscriber on PRI ISDN or E1/T1;
  • MSN number and its name dialed by outside subscriber on BPI ISDN;
• For showing on the computer's display dialed (DIAL) or connected (COLP) numbers at outgoing call on EXT telephone line or on outside subscriber on CO lines ISDN;
• For showing on the computer's display numbers and names of participants of conference which are collected from selected EXT telephone line;
• For showing on the computer's display status of selected EXT telephone line;
• For showing on the computer's display the information about several simultaneously incoming calls on selected EXT telephone line;
• For showing on the computer's display the information about last incoming or outgoing call from selected EXT telephone line.

1.2. System requirements:

Checked up platform: Windows 2000/XP/2003. Probably on Windows 98(Second Edition)/ME. It can work with any extension lines (except for ISDN, BRI, DECT in case KX-TD) and with any telephone device.

Hardware:

For functioning Blitz CallerID Display the computer must satisfy to the following requirements:

• The processor from Pentium-1 or higher or compatible with it;
• 16 Mbytes of RAM;
• 2 Mbytes of memory on the hard disk;
• Free COM port to connect PBX;
• Operative system Microsoft Windows 98SE/2000/ME/NT4.0(SP5)/2000/2003/XP;
• The version firmware of the PBX must be:
  • KX-TD 816 - not less 5 ver. (it is desirable 6 ver.)
  • KX-TD 1232 - not less 5 ver. (it is desirable 6. ver.)
  • KX-TD 500 - not less 2.3 (it is desirable 2.6)
  • KX-TDA anyone (it is desirable 2.0)
• To determine number of calling subscriber at incoming call the PBX must be connect to Network by means of ISDN* line with given by the operator CLIP of calling, E1* with ANI service for incoming call given by the operator, analog lines with service of Caller ID given by the operator* (to recognize Caller ID signals Panasonic KX-TD / KX-TDA PBXs should be completed with the appropriate plate, and KX-TD 1232 PBX also should be completed with the special version of the software*).

Restrictions for PBXs KX-TD / KX-TDA:

• In case of using double PBX Panasonic KX-TD 1232, ports of extension telephones only Master block can be controlled;
• Extension ISDN BRI and DECT ports for PBX Panasonic KX-TD are not controlled;
• Voice Mail ports are not controlled;
• Virtual extension numbers FND, Modem, DISA, EXT Group etc are not controlled.
