3.1 Run the program.
This shortcut has appeared in your desktop after installation.
Start the program "Blitz CallerID Display". During start the program makes initialization of
TAPI interface, which displays all found out TAPI lines.

In case, if any phone lines of PBX have not found out, you would see the error message.
Whereupon you need setting of work with PBX.
|
3.2. Setting of the program "Blitz CallerID Display".
Working with program the menu "Settings" is accessible by clicking on icon
"Blitz CallerID Display" by right button of mouse in system tray;

or by clicking on icon "Blitz CallerID Display" by right button of the mouse in
the top left corner of title bar of the opening program.
|
3.2.1. Setting of work with PBX.
The option window "Settings" will appear when you start this program at first time. At first, you need
to choose the tab "TAPI" and choose the way by means of which the program will work with TAPI:

TAPI on your PC
- if the program will work on the computer where PBX or PT is connected trough USB or RS-232 cable;

Microsoft TAPI Server - if the program will work with PBX which is connected to
remote computer in your LAN trough Microsoft TAPI Server;

Blitz KXTD TAPI Server - if the program will work with PBX which is connected
to remote computer in your LAN trough Blitz KXTD TAPI Server.
Choose the way of work the program with PBX you are interested in to see the form of settings window.

In the case if PBX is connected to computer trough USB cable at first you need to
install USB driver for Panasonic KX-TDA. After this you need to install TSP KX-TD or
TSP KX-TDA driver depending on station model. Additional settings are not required in the
program. |

In this case you need:
- To put address of one or several Microsoft TAPI Server in the list. For doing this
press "List of MS TAPI Servers" button;
- This list consists from 2 columns:
- The column "Server" sets Net-BIOS or domain name of
Microsoft TAPI Server.
- The column "Used" sets, whether Microsoft TAPI client
should be connected to this Microsoft TAPI Server. If the icon "Cross" is depicted
(haven't chosen), that this Microsoft TAPI Server will be lacking in the list of
Microsoft TAPI Server in the dialing window "Connect/disconnect
Microsoft TAPI client" and connection won't be made to it. To change the status "to
select/not to select" you need to click twice on the icon by the mouse.
- If your LAN is overloaded enable the option "Callbacks";
- Press "Connect" button and wait till this button become accessible again;

In this case you need:
- To enter the address of Blitz KXTD TAPI Server in
Address of server" field;
- It's necessary to change port number if admin have changed it on server;
- Parameter "Displayed every line, m/sec" gives a pause between showing the name of every
TAPI-line during TAPI initialization. This parameter is only for clearness;
- "Auto reconnection if lost" option defines auto reconnection to server, if the it was
lost;
- If you change the settings of connection to server in this case when you press "OK"
bottom there will be attempt to connect to server.

3.2.2. To set the view.
This section is necessary for select the language, setting the form and action of main window of the
program and pop up window. Pop up window appears during incoming and outgoing calls, this window holds
the same information about call as the main window, but it has miniature size.

You can select the colour of background and of text of program main window and pop up window will
appears at the moment of make a call. In the window "Settings" press on the correspondent colour button and
you will see the standard window with palette of colours:

3.2.3. Setting of calls log.
This section is necessary for select parameters of calls log, access an outside line and data source for
Address book.
- Calls for last X days - select how many days are able to preview calls log.
You can define from 1 to 365 days.
- Use prefix - select to use or not outside line access code.
- Get prefix from the server - in Blitz KXTD TAPI Server case
only, program will be receive outside line access code from Blitz KXTD TAPI Server.
- Prefix - outside line access code.
- Use local address book - select complementary panel to use or not for Local
Address Book work.
- Get data from : - allow to choose needing data source for Local Address Book :
- Outlook Express ;
- Microsoft Office Outlook ;
- Use address book of the Blitz KXTD TAPI Server - select
complementary panel to use or not for Blitz KXTD TAPI Server Address Book work.

3.2.4. Scripts.
Scripts allow program to execute some actions during incoming call if call have definite conditions.
Such actions are :
- Open any file including executable ;
- Open any URL with possible parameters - number of Caller ID ;
- Play any sound file (wav, mp3, wma, mid).
Possible conditions in the script can be :
- The incoming call Caller ID is equal or not equal or not determined ;
- The incoming call Called ID (DID/DDI) is equal or not equal or not determined ;
- The incoming call CO port is equal or not equal or not determined ;
- The incoming call status is or not is forwarded or transfered.
For creation new script press Add button. For modification or deletion the script select it from list
and press Edit or Delete button.
For creation new script or for modification the script there is Script editor windows.

3.3. Work with program.
During the first start of the program after receiving information about TAPI-lines, it's necessary to
open required EXT line. At a later time you can open this window from system menu
or tray menu.
Status of your EXT line:
- Line is free
- Hook on
- Waiting answer
- Connected
- Disconnected
- Line is busy
- Incoming call
The time of connection - the time, when you lift the phone at an incoming call or subscriber at your
outgoing call.
Duration of conversation - time from the moment of connection up to the present moment.
Your extension number - the number of outside line appears and name if it is nominated.

3.3.1. Incoming calls.
Direction of a call:
- incoming outside call;
- incoming extension call.
The subscriber's phone number and name nominated to him:
- at an outside call - subscriber's phone number and name if it is nominated, calling to you from ouside
line;
- at an intercom call - subscriber's phone number and name if it is nominated, calling to you an
EXT line.
The phone number and name nominated to it which was dialed by calling subscriber:
- at an outside call - the phone number and name which was dialed by calling subscriber. If this number
was not defind that intercom number and name of your own line is displayed;
- at an intercom call - the phone number and name if it is nominated which was dialed by calling
subscriber in EXT line.

3.3.2. Outgoing calls.
Direction of a call:
- outgoing outside call;
- outgoing intercom call.
Subscriber's phone number and name:
- at an outside call - the phone number and name if it is nominated in outside line, which is dialed by
you;
- at an intercom call - the phone number and name if it is nominated in EXT line, which is dialed by
you.
The phone number and name of connected subscriber:
- at an outside call - the subscriber's phone number and name if it is nominated in outside line who
answered on your call;
- at an intercom call - the subscriber's phone number and name if it is nominated in EXT line who
answered on your call.

3.3.3. The conference.
After the connection was finished and phone was put off, the information about last call will appear on
your screen. This information is accessible at maximize the window and keeps up to the next incoming or
outgoing call.

3.3.4. Functional panel.
When you press pictogram in right bottom corner
of program's main menu, you can display or hide functional panel. With the help of this panel you can answer
or drop the incoming call, dial any telephone number or recall the last dialed or determined number :

3.3.5. Call Transfer.
To call a window "Transfer" it is possible from the functional panel during a call,
having pressed button "TRANSFER".
Here there is a list of internal lines EXT on which it is possible to translate{transfer} a call
provided that at present time the necessary line is free. Badges from the left party{side} of each line
designate their current condition :
 | - line is free, On this line it is possible to redirect a
call; |
 | - line is busy; |
 | - line busy by a outgoing call; |
 | - "Wrap Up" - Not a greater{big} pause after an entering
call in which current the line does not accept other entering calls; |
 | - "Not ready" - The operator is not ready to accept
an entering call, the mode joins and switched off by it{him} manually; |
 | - "Forward" - Entering calls automatically forwarding on
other number; |
 | - "Do not disturb" - The line does not accept entering
calls; |
 | - "Line out of service" - The line is not serviceable
or disconnected{not serviceable or switched-off} in adjustments{options} PBX. |
Choose necessary internal number and execute translation{transfer} of a call.
If it is necessary to redirect a call on any way entered number including on city it is necessary to
enter desirable number into a field "Number manually" and to execute translation{transfer} of a call.
Translation{Transfer} of a call can be executed with анонсацией and without it{her}. To
translate{transfer} a call without анонсации, it is necessary to press button "Complete". For announce a call,
it is necessary to press button "Announce", - connection between you and the subscriber will be
established{installed} and you can in кратце tell to it{him} about this call, and button "Announce" will
change the purpose{assignment;destination} on "Back". If the subscriber agrees to accept a translated call,
it is necessary to press button "Complete" and if it do not agree or you have decided to refuse to
translate{transfer} a call, it is necessary to press button "Back".

3.3.6. Use of a local address book.
In settings of calls log the option "Use a local address book" should be enabled.
Pressing the pictogram in the bottom right corner of the
main window of the program you can show or hide the panel in which the information from a local address book
is displayed at incoming calls.
For getting of detail information on the subscriber, press Button "More", the detail information will be
presented in a standard window of a local address book:
For arbitrarily search of the subscriber and change of the information on him in a local address book, press
button "Search".
Input entirely or first one or several letters of one or several parameters of search - a name, a middle name,
a surname, a name of the company. All records corresponding criterion of search will be presented to you. For
change of the information on the subscriber in a local address book, press button "More". You can call to the
found subscriber. For this purpose choose from the list of the subscriber interesting for you, then choose
from the list the necessary phone number and press button "Call".

3.3.7. Use of a address book of server Blitz KXTD TAPI Server.
In settings of calls log должна быть включена опция "Use a address book of
Blitz KXTD TAPI Server". Furthermore the administrator should in options of a server is permit
to you to use a address book of a server. Pressing the pictogram
in the bottom right corner of the main window of the
program you can show or hide the panel in which the information from a address book of a server is displayed
at incoming calls.
For getting of detail information on the subscriber, press Button "More", the information will be presented
in an additional window:
If in options of a server, modify of a address book is permitted to you, all fields in these windows
will be accessible to editing, otherwise you can only receive the information, and cannot edit. For save of
all changes in a address book of a server, press the button "Save changes".
For arbitrarily search of the subscriber and change of the information on him in a address book of a
server press button "Search".

3.3.8. Multiply windows.
Since version 3.0. Blitz CallerID Display can display several calls that come simultaneously
on one EXT line. For example: if you press the key "Hold" on telephone during the conversation and dial
another telephone number, there will be already 2 calls on this line - first, which is on hold and second -
is current. Also several calls can come simultaneously on one EXT number if the function "Call Waiting
Tone" is switched on in PBX for this EXT number.
Their maximum amount depends only on your PBX and Blitz CallerID Display can display it
without restrictions.

If you enable the option "To pop up during calls", during incoming and outgoing calls you'll see pop up
miniature window with information about the call near the tray.
In this window and in the main window information is the same. Here you can answer incoming call, drop
it and to hang up the receiver during the conversation, pressing respective bottom.

3.3.10. Calls log.
If Blitz CallerID Display works with PBX trough Blitz KXTD TAPI Server the
opportunity to review calls for certain period of time is accessible for the last 1 to 365 days.
For calls sorting you need to click the mouse on that column's heading which you need to sort.
You can change the period of time without closing this window. For doing this you need to click the
right button of the mouse on window's heading of calls log and to choose the item "Log's setting" in system
menu.
You can call up the number which you choose from the list. Double click the mouse desire string again
and dialing window will be opened.

3.3.11. Dialing.
The following window allows you to make a call under any number or under number from the list of
internal lines. To choose from the list it is possible only that number which at present is free, noted by
the pictogram .
To open the window you can :
- from the calls log by clicking the row with the number what you need and in
this case number from this row will be entered automatically in "Dialing number" field taking into
consideration prefix of outdise line's exit;
- to choose "Call" item from system menu;
- to choose "Call" item from tray menu.
- press butten "Answer / Dial" in Functional panel if incoming call is absent.
